Willkie Farr & Gallagher has added Linklaters partner Daniel Gendron to its finance practice according to a press release from the firm on Thursday.
Gendron had been a partner at Linklaters since 2013 according to his Linkedin profile. He was previously an associate at Borden Ladner Gervais.
His exit is the latest in a slew of partner departures for Linklaters this week.
Hong Kong head of corporate Gilbert Li and partner Iris Yeung jumped ship to Allen & Overy while its U.S. cyber co-chair Erez Liebermann headed to Debevoise & Plimpton, just over a year after being at the firm.
In April, antitrust partner and outgoing global practice head Christian Ahlborn joined Covington & Burling.
Willkie, meanwhile, has been expanding its U.K. and European reach. In the past few months, the firm has expanded its Frankfurt and Brussels offices. In January, the firm hired two DLA Piper partners at its London office.
In October 2021, it brought on a heavyweight antitrust and litigation team from Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan.
