Former federal prosecutor Matthew Biben has joined after three years with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, bringing experience across commercial, regulatory and white-collar disputes.
Atlanta-headquartered global firm King & Spalding has hired Matthew Biben in New York as a partner after three years with rival firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he was co-chair of its financial institutions practice.
Biben, who started with King & Spalding on 1st August, is one of the firm’s most high-profile hires in 2022 and follows the partner appointments of Dale Giali, Keri Borders and Michael Resch in California in June, Antonio Lewis in Charlotte in July, and Brian Miller, Samantha Kavanaugh and Ross Linzer, who joined the firm’s Miami office from Akerman in May.
