Hillenbrand Inc. on Thursday said Kristina Cerniglia, senior vice president and chief financial officer, is leaving on April 29 to pursue other opportunities.
The Batesville, Ind., diversified industrial company said Robert VanHimbergen will join as executive vice president of finance on March 14 and will become chief financial officer on April 30.
Mr. VanHimbergen, 46 years old, most recently served as vice president and corporate controller at Johnson Controls International PLC, which last month announced his planned departure.
Hillenbrand said Mr. VanHimbergen will receive an annual base salary of $500,000 and an annual short-term incentive bonus with a target of 75% of his base pay.
Ms. Cerniglia has served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Hillenbrand since August 2014.
