Fellow congressman calls for campaign finance probe of Rep. George Santos

The investigation into Rep.
George Santos could soon involve his campaign finance practice.

News 12 learned a fellow congressman has called for a federal probe.

Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-15) held news conference in
Great Neck this morning.

Torres was joined by members of the Concerned Citizens of New
York, a non-partisan citizen group.

Torres will called on the FEC
to launch an investigation into potential illegal activity and irregularities
surrounding the campaign finances of Rep. Santos.
