Bank of America has hired a senior dealmaker for its leveraged finance unit in London, the latest senior changes to the division at the Wall Street bank.
Fabian Ansorg is set to join Bank of America as a managing director within its leveraged finance capital markets desk in July, according to a memo seen by Financial News and confirmed by a bank spokesman.
Ansorg joined from asset manager M&G’s, where he was co-head of leveraged finance research and has spent the past 14 years.
Last year, Bank of America hired Uday Malhotra from Goldman Sachs as head of leveraged finance origination for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This followed the appointment of Murad Khaled as head of EMEA leveraged finance capital markets, after the departure of Joe Bishay, who moved to Credit Suisse.
