We are actively recruiting a new, research-active, Assistant Professor/Lecturer in Finance.

The ability to teach and effectively communicate Finance data analysis methods and practical implications of data analysis to students with no prior experience of Finance (such as undergraduates from multiple disciplinary), intermediate experience (such as our single honours Finance students and MSc Finance) and advanced knowledge (PhD students), is a key requirement for this position. The Arts programme, where students are taking Finance as one module amongst many is a key part of our student community, thus ability to engage such students in the joy, practicality and science of Finance are important.

Teaching in Finance covers a range of modules, which can be seen on our website under each of our programmes (https://www.maynoothuniversity.ie/school-business/our-courses). Teaching needs currently include undergraduate and postgraduate modules. These include individual Finance modules in non-Finance business degrees, double honours degrees where Finance is one of the majors, single honours Finance degrees, a range of taught postgraduate Finance degrees, and our PhD programme.
